This delicious fish curry, typical of Indian cuisine, is tasty, generous and super-simple to prepare. The sweetness of the coconut milk contrasts perfectly with the spiciness of the curry sauce: an ideal blend for a fragrant, convivial dish that will make even the most reluctant eat fish. Let's set off on an exotic culinary voyage!

If you like curries, you'll love the Katsu Curry (traditional Japanese curry), the chicken with coconut milk and green curry or the coconut Thai salmon curry.

    💙 Why you'll love it

    • It's quick and easy to prepare.
    • It's healthy, and will make even the most reluctant eat fish.
    • It can be kept for several days, making it ideal for batch cooking.
    • All ingredients cook in a single pan, so you'll need very few dishes! Practical, isn't it?
    • It is dairy-free (check your curry paste) and can easily be made gluten-free.

    🌶 Ingredients

These are the main ingredients, and the quantities can be found in the recipe card below.

    • Fish: I recommend white fish such as cod, monkfish or hake. It's also delicious with salmon!
    • An onion: white or yellow.
    • Garlic - if you want to choose your garlic carefully so you do not encourage the slavery of Chinese prisoners, read my Eco Tips on the subject.
    • Peeled tomatoes to flavour the recipe.
    • Coconut milk
    • Cilantro: fresh if possible, otherwise frozen will work.
    • Fresh ginger is much tastier than powdered ginger.
    • Curry paste : I recommend red curry paste for this recipe. If it's too spicy for you, try yellow, which is lighter. If, on the other hand, you want a spicier one, choose the green one, which is stronger.
    • Lime.

    ✅ Gluten-free version

For a gluten-free fish curry, make sure you buy a gluten-free curry paste.
