    💙 Why you'll love it

    • It's a quick and easy dish: just put the ingredients on top of the salmon and pop it in the oven.
    • It requires few ingredients.
    • It goes well with any accompaniment.
    • It can be kept for several days , making it ideal for batch cooking.
    • It is rich in omega-3s, proteins and health-promoting nutrients.

    🧀 Ingredients

These are the main ingredients, and the quantities can be found in the recipe card below.

    • Raw salmon. Be careful not to use smoked salmon.
    • Panko breadcrumbs: Japanese breadcrumbs found in supermarkets.
    • Sweet or smoked paprika, to taste.
    • Parmesan cheese: I recommend using blocks of Parmesan cheese, which you can grate yourself at the last minute.
    • Garlic - if you want to choose your garlic carefully so you do not encourage the slavery of Chinese prisoners, read my Eco Tips on the subject.
    • Herbs: parsley and chives. Fresh, dried or frozen, take what you have on hand.

✨ What to eat with it?

    • Homemade Labneh
    • Grilled vegetable skewers: zucchinis, peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, butternut, etc... Depending on the season!
    • Rice: like this one with Garam Massala (salmon will replace fish en papillote) or this green Poblano rice.
    • With Malfatti, delicious spinach "gnocchi".
    • Pasta, with broccoli cream, with leek, red onion and mozzarella or with lemon and mascarpone cream.
    • Gnocchi: try these gourmet sweet potato gnocchi or these Roman semolina gnocchi.
    • Vegetables: a good leek fondue, spinach or mushroom sautée.
    • Potatoes: these Hasselback potatoes to impress your guests, delicious oven patatas bravas or even French pommes noisettes (potatoes).

    💡 Frequently Asked Questions

What wine to drink with salmon en croûte?

A white wine such as Sauvignon or Chardonnay goes very well with this recipe. For red wine, prefer Burgundy or Côtes du Rhône.

    ❄️Storage

Once cooled, place the salmon in an airtight container and refrigerate. This means you can keep them for up to 3 days.

    I don't recommend freezing.
