These delicious baked salmon fillets are topped with herbs, spices and garlic, as well as a blend of Parmesan and Japanese Panko breadcrumbs. Melt-in-the-mouth on the inside and slightly crunchy on top, they're the perfect quick dinner!

These are the main ingredients, and the quantities can be found in the recipe card below.
- Raw salmon. Be careful not to use smoked salmon.
- Panko breadcrumbs: Japanese breadcrumbs found in supermarkets.
- Sweet or smoked paprika, to taste.
- Parmesan cheese: I recommend using blocks of Parmesan cheese, which you can grate yourself at the last minute.
- Garlic - if you want to choose your garlic carefully so you do not encourage the slavery of Chinese prisoners, read my Eco Tips on the subject.
- Herbs: parsley and chives. Fresh, dried or frozen, take what you have on hand.

- Homemade Labneh
- Grilled vegetable skewers: zucchinis, peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, butternut, etc... Depending on the season!
- Rice: like this one with Garam Massala (salmon will replace fish en papillote) or this green Poblano rice.
- With Malfatti, delicious spinach "gnocchi".
- Pasta, with broccoli cream, with leek, red onion and mozzarella or with lemon and mascarpone cream.
- Gnocchi: try these gourmet sweet potato gnocchi or these Roman semolina gnocchi.
- Vegetables: a good leek fondue, spinach or mushroom sautée.
- Potatoes: these Hasselback potatoes to impress your guests, delicious oven patatas bravas or even French pommes noisettes (potatoes).
💡 Frequently Asked Questions
A white wine such as Sauvignon or Chardonnay goes very well with this recipe. For red wine, prefer Burgundy or Côtes du Rhône.
❄️Storage
Once cooled, place the salmon in an airtight container and refrigerate. This means you can keep them for up to 3 days.
I don't recommend freezing.

Parmesan and Panko crusted salmon
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets about 10.5 oz
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 large garlic clove
- ¼ lemon
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese freshly grated
- 1 tablespoon Panko breadcrumbs
- parsley leaves
- chives
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by squeezing a clove of garlic and mixing with the paprika, lemon juice and olive oil.
- Preheat your oven to 410°F/210°C in natural convection/static heat mode. Remove the skin from the salmon and place in an ovenproof dish.
- Brush it with the sauce, season with salt and pepper, then grate the Parmesan over it and add the Panko breadcrumbs.
- Place in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes (depending on the size of your steaks) and sprinkle with chives and parsley. Enjoy!
