    💙 Why you'll love it

    • Fast: this delicious dip is ready in just 5 minutes, perfect for a last-minute aperitif.
    • Original: this dip makes a change from the more classic aperitifs like hummus or guacamole that we're used to.
    • Budget friendly: as it requires few ingredients, it's quite economical.

    🧀Ingredients

These are the main ingredients, and the quantities are in the recipe card below.

    • Tuna: take a good quality one, as it's the fundamental ingredient in the recipe. I recommend tuna crumbs in extra virgin olive oil.
    • Cream cheese: creamy and melting, it's the ideal cheese for this recipe!
    • Fresh herbs: chives, dill and parsley.
    • Ginger: I recommend using fresh ginger that you grate at the last minute - it's so much better!
    • A lime, for a slightly tangy touch.

    🥖What to serve with it?

To enjoy this dip, you can make homemade French mini blinis (it's super easy) or homemade pita bread. On slices of Ciabatta bread or baguette, it's delicious too.

And if you're looking for other recipes for a quick and tasty aperitif, here are a few ideas for you to enjoy:

    • Crack bread ready in 20 minutes. Believe me, your guests will be asking for more!
    • Mediterranean hummus ready in 20 minutes.
    • Labneh to start the day before, but it only takes 5 minutes to prepare.
    • Whipped feta dip - Ready in 5 minutes. Here, it's served with grilled eggplant, but you can do without or adapt the vegetable to suit the season.
    • French olive spread (Tapenade) ready in 5 minutes too.
