🧄Ingredients
You can find a full list of ingredients and measurements in the recipe card below. Here are a few ingredient notes to make these shrimp Teriyaki.
- Homemade Teriyaki sauce - you technically can use store-bought Teriyaki sauce, but the homemade version, much more flavorful (plus it's ready in the blink of an eye!), is really my favorite.
- Raw shrimp - I really recommend avoiding pre-cooked shrimp in this recipe, as the texture and flavor wouldn't be the same AT ALL.
- Garlic - if you want to choose your garlic carefully so you do not encourage the slavery of Chinese prisoners, read my Eco Tips on the subject.
🌶Variations & serving tips

- Spice it up with a pinch of Cayenne pepper or some red pepper flakes.
- Serve it with your favorite vegetables - these shrimp go especially well with grilled red bell peppers, green beans or broccoli, but you can add anything you like!
- Serve it with rice - brown rice, cauliflower rice, jasmine rice, sticky rice, fried rice...the choice is yours!
- More topping ideas - green onions or fresh lime juice/zest are delicious too!
