- Cut your peppers in half, removing the inner membranes and seeds.
- Place your peppers on a foil-lined baking sheet and place in the oven.
- Once cooked, remove the skin and place in the blender.
- Add the Greek yogurt, feta, herbs, paprika, olive oil and garlic.
- Season with salt and pepper and blend.
- Place in a bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, some crumbled feta and a pretty mint leaf.

You can keep this recipe in the fridge for 48 hours, but it may harden slightly. Don't hesitate to add a drizzle of olive oil just before serving, to loosen it and make it more supple.
I don't recommend freezing this recipe, as it will be very runny when defrosted.
You can enjoy it as an aperitif with crunchy vegetables, baguette, pitas or French mini blinis.
But Ktipiti can also be used as a sauce: one day I added it to a pasta dish and it was absolutely divine!

Ktipiti (Greek red pepper spread)
Ingredients
- 10 oz red peppers
- ⅓ cups Greek yogurt
- ⅓ ⅛ cups feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon mint
- 1 tablespoon chives
- 1 tablespoon dill
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 390°F/200°C, then cut your peppers in half, removing the inner membranes and seeds. Place the peppers on a tray lined with aluminum foil and bake for 30 to 40 minutes (they should be slightly blackened when you remove them).
- Once cooked, remove the skins and place in the blender.
- Add the Greek yoghurt, feta, coarsely chopped herbs, paprika, olive oil and chopped garlic clove.
- Season with salt and pepper and blend.
- Place in a bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, some crumbled feta and a pretty mint leaf.
