🍹 A cocktail inspired by a traditional drink from sub-Saharan Africa
This infusion of dried hibiscus flowers is called bissap in Senegalese Wolof. Also known as Guinea sorrel, it is an essential drink in many African countries, thanks to its many virtues: good digestion, fights water retention, prevents cardiovascular disease and is very high in antioxidants and vitamin C.
You can also make this recipe without alcohol and consume only the juice, which is very refreshing.
💙 Why will you love this recipe?
- It is extremely easy to prepare
- It's really delicious and will amaze all cocktail and original drink lovers.
- It can be adapted: you can remove the orange blossom if you don't like it, add more or less sugar, more or less lime juice if you like acidity, etc...
🍹How to store this cocktail?
Dans une boîte hermétique, au frigo, pendant 48 à 72 heures. Mais à mon avis, il sera dégusté avant que vous ayez eu le temps de dire "bissap" !
If you make this Bissap cocktail, it would be so nice to leave me a comment and rate the recipe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. You can also tag me on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook or Tik Tok, or even send me a photo, I love seeing my little dishes in your homes!
