    💙 Why you'll love them

    • They're so easy to make!
    • All you need is 2 ingredients!
    • They're super healthy for a healthy but delicious snack.
    • They are vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.

    🍎 Ingredients

These are the main ingredients, and the quantities can be found in the recipe card below.

    • Apples: buy organic, as you won't be peeling them. I recommend Red Delicious, Pink Lady/Cripps Pink (my favorites), Gala, Fuji, Jonagold or Braeburn.
    • Cinnamon: ground.

    🥰 Chef's tips

    1. I recommend using a mandolin to obtain chips of the same thickness and as thin as possible: they will cook faster.
    2. If you don't have one, you can use a knife, but try to be as regular as possible.
    3. Use your oven's fan-assisted mode for baking: it will provide even heat and potato chip, well-cooked apple potato chips.
    4. No need to add sugar, apples are naturally sweet.

    💡 Frequently Asked Questions

No, you don't have to. But use organic apples!

    ❄️Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature (they will soften in the fridge) for around 1 week.

If your chips soften a little over time, put them in the oven for a few minutes at 340°F/115°C.

    Healthy baked apple chips

Apple potato chips are easy to make, healthy and crunchy, and can be nibbled on as a gourmet snack or for a sweet and savory appetizer.
    Servings 15 chips
    Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 1 hour hr 30 minutes mins
Total Time 1 hour hr 40 minutes mins

    Ingredients

    • 2 apples Red Delicious, Pink Lady/Cripps Pink (my favorites), Gala, Fuji, Jonagold or Braeburn.
    • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

    Instructions

    • Preheat your oven to 240°F/115°C in fan-assisted mode. Meanwhile, cut your apples into thin strips and remove their cores (no need to peel them).
    • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and brush each one with a pinch of cinnamon.
    • Place in the oven for 1h30 to 2h (depending on the thickness of your slices), turning the chips halfway through cooking.
    • Once cooked, leave them to cool for 10 minutes (this is when they take on the crisp, crunchy consistency of potato chips), then enjoy!

    Notes

Baking time depends on the thickness of your slices. The thicker they are, the longer they will take to cook.
