These avocado and tuna verrines are super tasty and delicious. But best of all, they're no-bake and express! An original appetizer for a party or an evening with friends.

In France, verrines are small appetizers served directly in glasses. For a change, and to avoid washing up, I used avocado skins instead of glasses.

    💙 Why you'll love them

    • They're very quick to make: simply garnish the avocados, here used as verrines.
    • This is a super-easy starter that will impress your guests.
    • They require virtually no utensils, and you'll have very few dishes to wash!

    🥑 Ingredients

These are the main ingredients, and the quantities can be found in the recipe card below.

    • Avocado - did you know that, depending on the country of origin of your avocados, you run the risk of enriching the mafia? Find out more about green gold and alternatives in this Eco Tips.
    • Tuna: I recommend tuna in extra virgin olive oil or au naturel.
    • Red onion, a little more full-bodied than other onions.
    • Mayonnaise: you can make it yourself, or buy it ready-made for faster preparation.
    • Herbs: chives and parsley. Fresh, frozen or dried: take what you've got!
    • Lime, for its zest and juice.
    • Cucumbers: in season from May to October, so make the most of it!
    • Feta cheese, which you can substitute with any cheese you like, such as goat's cheese.

    ❄️ Storage

I advise you to eat them quickly, as avocados don't keep well once opened.
