Puff pastry with goat cheese, ham, onions and honey
Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ onion
- 2 larges slices ham
- ½ cup goat cheese
- A few sprigs thyme
- 4 teaspoons honey
- 1 egg yolk
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 390°F/200°C. Finely slice the onion and sauté it over medium-high heat in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil until it is nicely browned.
- Cut your puff pastry into four equal squares. On each square, place ½ slice of ham, 3 good rounds of goat cheese, a bit of thyme, the roasted onions, and a drizzle of honey.
- Finally, fold the puff pastry squares by the corners, brush them with beaten egg yolk, and place them in the oven on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 15 to 20 minutes (each oven is different).
