A classic of French gastronomy revisited with the flavors of Italy: a croque monsieur that's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Super gourmet, it is garnished with runny cheeses, Parma ham and basil Pesto. Believe me, it's as express as it is tasty!

    💙 Why you'll love it

    • No need for a croque monsieur maker
    • Ready in 10 minutes(express)
    • Ultra-simple to prepare, with basic ingredients

    🧈 Ingredients

Here are the recipe's main ingredients, with quantities given in the recipe card below.

    • Bread: the kind you like (seeded or not, gluten-free, sandwich, farmhouse, rye...).
    • Spinach shoots: replace with lamb's lettuce or arugula, for example.
    • Four cheeses: Carrés Frais, feta, mozzarella and Gruyère. Of course, you can replace them with others you like.
    • Basil Pesto: store-bought or homemade.
    • Parma ham: or white ham, Prosciutto, ... indulge your taste buds!
    • Oregano

    💡Frequently Asked Questions

How to cook a croque-monsieur in the oven?

In three steps: fill the loaf, bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in natural convection/static heat mode, then turn on the grill for just a minute.

    ❄️ Storage

Wrap the cold croque-monsieur (important to prevent condensation and softening) in aluminum foil and place in the fridge. Under these conditions, it will keep for a maximum of 24 hours.

To reheat, simply pop it in the oven and you're done!
