If you don't like Gorgonzola, you can replace it with another cheese of your choice. You can also leave in or remove the button mushrooms: adapt this recipe to your tastes!

✅ A recipe suitable for gluten intolerant/allergic people
If you can't tolerate gluten, you can make this recipe with gluten-free pasta and remove the Espelette pepper, which may contain it (check the label).
Onions, mushrooms, heavy cream, Gorgonzola and vegetable oils such as olive oil are gluten-free.
🍄 When do you eat onions and button mushrooms?
Onions can be eaten from September to April inclusive, and button mushrooms...all year round!
😇 Storage
This pasta can be stored in the fridge for up to 48 hours, as long as it's in a tightly-sealed dish.
To reheat, place briefly in the microwave.

Gorgonzola pasta with mushrooms
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups pasta
- 1 small yellow onion
- 3 ½ cups mushrooms chopped
- 4-5 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 ⅓ cups Gorgonzola cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- 1 pinch Espelette pepper
Instructions
- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water following the time indicated on the packaging.
- Meanwhile, sauté chopped onion and chopped mushrooms in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil over high heat.
- Once they are browned, reduce the heat to low, add Gorgonzola cheese and heavy cream, cover, and let the cream thicken.
- Drain the pasta, pour it into the saucepan with the sauce, and mix well. Add chopped fresh parsley and Espelette pepper.
