Pasta with sage butter and Parma ham
Ingredients
- 190 g pasta
- 2-3 tablespoons sage leaves
- 140 g unsalted butter
- 1 poil de Espelette pepper
- 1 handful pine nuts
- 4 slices Parma ham
- 30 g Parmesan cheese freshly grated
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling water, cook your pasta for the required time.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a frying pan and add the sage leaves. Cook, stirring often, until the butter turns nutty. Season with fleur de sel and pepper.
- Drain the pasta, pour into the pan with the sauce and mix well.
- Serve and garnish with Parma ham, Espelette pepper, pine nuts, a sprinkling of Parmesan and a few fresh sage leaves.
